Ryan Baya joined Thompson Holdings as General Counsel on the Executive Leadership Team in 2025. In this corporate officer role, Baya is a strategic team player in the company’s growth plans. His knowledge and experience in the A/E industry position him to be a key player in our growth strategy because of his risk management experience, ability to connect with our employee-owners, and his solutions-based approach for the benefit of our project teams and clients. A Mobile native, Baya attended Auburn University and law school at the University of Florida. He began his career working for Hand Arendall practicing in Alabama and Florida. Immediately before joining Thompson, Baya was in private practice in Tampa for 15 years with a heavy focus on construction law.
